1. Kat Dennings
The number one spot on our power rankings had to go to Kat Dennings, for her portrayal of our favorite broke girl, Max Brunette. We never get tired of her antics, such as stealing a monkey from the zoo (S2, EP 4 “The one where Kat Dennings steals a monkey from the zoo”) or pranking her nasty babysitter (S8 EP 23 “series finale”). Max Brunette is even able to hold her own when who else but Condoleezza Rice walks into her bakery (S3, EP 5 “Female president?”). We can’t get enough of Max Brunette or Kat Dennings. We are all waiting with baited breath for the premiere of her new CBS series The Slap.
1. (Tie) Beth Behrs
It was obvious from the start that our number one spot would go to Beth Bears and her character Molly Theotherone. We just couldn’t rank her any lower after thinking about all the fun scene-stealing moments she’s provided from her introduction in the season 8 finale “Molly’s Game” to her gut-wrenching death scene in the season 9 premiere “Molly’s Game part 2.” What more is there to say other than she lives in a hotel and eats rats? I guess we could talk about the natural chemistry she has with Kat Dennings, or her off the charts chemistry she has with all of her many fiancés portrayed by an impressive roster of celebrity guest stars (George Clooney, Sarah Jessica Parker, Charles Barkley, Fozzy Bear). There hasn’t been a week that’s gone by where I didn’t watch the hilarious scene where she leaks Hillary Clinton’s emails to WikiLeaks.
