Live Nation recently announced the Jelly Roll and Post Malone “We’re The Same Guy” Tour coming to stadiums across the country. Music fans responded to the announcement by Googling the singers to determine which one is which.
Jelly Roll, or possibly Post Malone, said in a statement, “I’m excited for us to tour together. We have undeniable chemistry, and performing together will provide entertainment and special memories for fans of large, bearded, tattooed singers.”
Post Malone, or possibly Jelly Roll, said in a statement, “I can’t wait to get out on the road. At each tour stop, we’ll go to a local tattoo shop and get matching tattoos to celebrate our friendship, our love of music, and our love of Mexican food.”
The tour promises “interaction between the artists like never before.” Jelly Roll, or possibly Post Malone, explained, “We’ll start by singing a duet. After we each sing a solo song, we’ll change into the other’s clothes, and sing each other’s songs.”
Post Malone, or possibly Jelly Roll, continued, “For the next part of the show, we’ll change into our own new outfits and imitate the other singer as if he’s singing one of our own songs. Next, we’ll change clothes again, and play the part of an impersonator of the other singer, as we sing the other’s songs and our own.”
Jelly Roll, or possibly Post Malone, enthusiastically described the finale, “At the end of the night, we’ll have a set that looks like a giant house of mirrors from the fair. We’ll change clothes again, but this time we’ll be wearing a giant mascot head of either ourselves, or the other singer. We’ll be joined on stage by one hundred costumed dancers, and they’ll be divided into fifty mascot heads of each of us.”
Post Malone, or possibly Jelly Roll, explained, “After we sing songs with the Post and Jelly costumed mascots, the audience will vote on who they think are the real Post and Jelly. If we’re not revealed after ten rounds of voting, we will unmask at that point.”
Jelly Roll, or possibly Post Malone, continued, “To conclude the concert, we’ll sing our biggest hits together. We’ll start out by alternating singing verses and choruses. Then, we’ll alternate singing lines of the songs. We’ll conclude by each singing every other word of the songs. Our fans will have an experience they’ll never forget.”
