DORTHAN, AL — Those close to area teenager, Connor Lovett recently reported that the Westview High Senior and 3-time honor roll student was extremely distraught and downright shocked upon learning quite suddenly, that his Dad has been fucking his Mom.
Lovett, current student body treasurer, and debate club president had confirmed to close sources, friends, and classmates on Tuesday that his Father, someone who Lovett has looked up to, modeled himself after, and who’s been his rock since he can remember, has been shacking up with his Mother “fairly regularly” for an “indeterminate amount of time,” one close source divulged. “Apparently, this has been happening right under his nose, in the same house Kyle lives in now,” began classmate Chip Hansen. “I can’t imagine the anguish he must be going through. It’s got to be devastating.”
“I got to school not long after Connor and he was just sitting in his car, kind of staring off into space,” reported Lovett’s girlfriend, Heather Higby. “I pressed him to tell me what was going on, but he just brushed me off. I had to get it out of Brandon [Lovett’s best friend]. We’ve been dating over a year and I’ve never seen him this shaken up,” she added.
“He had been acting weird and distant all day and had missed practice after school,” said Aaron Johnson, Lovett’s lacrosse teammate, “which is a first for him. So I immediately knew something was off.” Johnson continued, “I cornered him as he was pacing in the parking lot and he eventually told me. I assured him I was here if he needed to talk. I don’t know how I’d react if I were in his position.”
Close sources had also divulged that, unbeknownst to Lovett, someone had reported the entire situation, as well as Lovett’s condition to his counselor Ms. Ehrlich, who remarked this morning, “I immediately pulled him [Lovett] out of class after learning the state he was in when the news of this spread. The last thing a student needs after something like this is rumors spreading and getting distorted or exaggerated.” She added, “you know how teenagers are.”
At press time Lovett was reportedly still on campus afraid to go home and see his Father’s car still parked overnight in the garage.
