WASHINGTON – Despite being welcomed with two separate meals of McDonald’s and a stripped down living room that is apparently going to be rebuilt with solid gold “very soon,” guests at The White House last weekend said they felt confused and worried when it came to what is considered polite in the home of the president.
“I don’t know… I know they have all kinds of rooms where people are working out war plans, signing legislature, or playing Call of Duty with Eric and Don Jr., but even with so much going on, it felt weird to keep my shoes on. When I go to my neighbor Paul’s house for board game night we always take ours off. He has a little shelf rack thing where they go. It makes it really simple. I feel like I probably should have popped the New Balance’s off and left them right inside the front door before walking around the six-story 132 room house. I wish they had the little shelf rack. It really does make it super simple.”
Said President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador about his April White House visit.
Our staff was unable to get a comment from The White House on this matter as they weren’t wearing socks the day they went and didn’t go in due to fear they’d be asked to take their shoes off.
